Merit Badge Mania

River Hawk District proudly announces its new and improved merit badge camporee!  This weekend camping event is an opportunity for Scouts to earn one or more Merit Badges and for Troops to gain valuable outdoor experience.  Hosted at Camp Saffran on the Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation, this very popular event is expected to draw over 250 Scouts from Anne Arundel County and beyond.  Merit Badges to be offered include Indian Lore (suitable for new Scouts), Camping, Radio, Archery, Shotgun Shooting, several very-popular "Eagle-required" badges (suitable for Star and Life Scouts), and more!  Most badges have prerequisites that must be completed before the event.  Scouts who make “partial” progress on one or more badges may continue working on them in their home units.

Class sizes are limited.  Payment is due at time of registration.
