District Executive Introduction

Hello everyone, Let me start out by saying how excited I am to be the new district executive for the Chesapeake district of the Boy Scouts of America! After being a scout myself and working my way to the rank of eagle with troop 475 in Dulaney district I am happy to be back into scouting in a professional capacity. I am a graduate of Towson University and alumni of Calvert Hall and have spent my whole life living and working in Baltimore.

I am excited to be able to give back and work hard to ensure that the boy scouts will continue to enrich the lives of so many in our area. Over the next week I will be trying to reach out to as many volunteers as possible to introduce myself and hit the ground running. I encourage all our volunteers to come out to our district committee meetings on the first Wednesday of every month starting in August. Feel free to contact me with any concerns now or in the future. I look forward to meeting everyone and am very excited to get started here with the Boy Scouts of America.

Sincerely,

Tyler J. Korpisz |  District Executive

Friends of Scouting

It is that time of year that we need to start working on Friends of Scouting.

All Units should verify their 2015 Friends of Scouting presentation date with Ron Tydings (410-608-4860 // email:Ronald.tydings@verizon.net) at least 1 week before the scheduled date to make sure your presenter is locked in.  It would be helpful, if you could give an estimate of adult attendees, as well.
