BSA REPORT TO THE STATE OF MARYLAND

This Presidents' Day, February 19, 2018 registered Scouts and leaders will gather in the State of Maryland House Chamber to share with the leaders of our great state all that Scouting has done in our communities from Ocean City to Hagerstown and Towson to St. Mary's.

There will be no registration limit this year.  However, there is still a 300 person limit inside the House of Delegates Chamber.

Registration is simple and should be done as early as you know who will be participating. To register you should have youth names and a unit contact who will provide their contact details. That person is also asked to register on the Baltimore Area Council's text messaging system for immediate notifications should they be neccessary. 

Every unit leader must sign up to receive SMS texts regarding the BSA Report to the State of Maryland. Texts will only be sent for important reminders or emergency information regarding the event. Sign up takes 10 seconds. Just text "MDReport" to 48421.

NOTICE TO SCOUTERS - SCHEDULE

Dear Scouters –

PLEASE NOTE THE SCHEDULE FOR THE REPORT TO THE STATE PROGRAM ON FEBRUARY 19^TH.

PASS THIS INFORMATION ALONG TO YOUR SCOUTS & LEADERS.

WE WANT TO HAVE EVERYONE PRESENT FOR THE 3:30 PICTURE WITH THE GOVERNOR.

1.3:30 Governor Hogan will meet all Scouts, Scout Leaders and family members on the 2^nd Floor of the State House.  PLEASE make sure you are there by 3:15 as this will begin promptly.

2.  Report to the State Program – This will begin at 3:50 in the House Chamber. 

3. There will be a reception in the Senate Office Building, President’s East Room 1 beginning at 5:00 – 7:00 pm with members of the legislators present to meet Scouts.

4. Parking, please see the attached document on available parking locations.

5. Contact your Legislator and invite them to the Report to the State Program.  Below is a link to a list of Legislators and in the top right corner of the page, you can find your legislator by zip code.  Please feel free to send them an email invitation.

A.    NAVY-MARINE CORPS MEMORIAL STADIUM

The Trolley Shuttle runs to Annapolis: Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. at 20-minute intervals, more frequent­ly during rush hours. Saturday and Sunday service May through October only. No service on July 4, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.  Fare: 75 cents.
