Life to Eagle Seminar

Who:      Life Scouts, their parents, Scoutmasters, Troop Advancement
                Chairman, and Eagle Scout Coaches/Advisors

 

 

The Chesapeake District’s Life to Eagle seminar is great place for Life Scouts who have any ambitions of becoming an Eagle Scout to get a full understanding of what is required of them.  The seminar will cover the Eagle Scout rank requirements, service project, project write-up and board of review issues.  There will also be opportunities for the scout to ask questions. We will also be going over the new workbook.

 

Please bring pen & paper and any questions that you may have to the seminar.

Chesapeake District Cub Scout Klondike!

This is the patch for the 2015 Boy Scout and

Chesapeake District Cub Scout Klondike!

Date:  February 7th

Location:  Chesterwood Park  (off of Peninsula Expressway in Dundalk)

Time: 9 AM to 3 PM (registration starts at 8:30)

Activities: Stations for den activities and a sled race!  Stations include:  First Aid, Wrist Rockets, Blind Man Maze, Fire Building, 10 Essentials, Blacksmithing, Hiking Skills, Flag Etiquette, and more!

Cost:  $10/scout, $5/adult

Items for Each Scout / Adult to Bring:

  • Clothes, footwear, hats, and gloves for COLD Weather
  • Water Bottle and Mess Kit (Plate, Bowl, Mug, Utensils) for Lunch
  • Medical Forms Part A&B: Kept w/ on site unit leader or parent
  • Klondike Sled is Optional (if you don’t have a sled come enjoy the day!)
  • Compass
  • Neckerchief
  • Scout Spirit, Flexibility to enjoy a day at Camp doing FUN Cub Scout Activities

Packs – please plan on coming as den(s) to go through the course.

Last day to sign up for the Cub Scout Klondike is at January’s round table on 1/14.

The 2014 Chesapeake District Pinewood Derby will be open to ALL RACERS!!!! All Cub Scouts wanting to race are welcome. Please register as soon as possible for this event. We suggest registering Scouts as soon as your Pack Pinewood Derby is completed!!!

The Chesapeake District has converted all of the Merit Badge Counselors over to the website for easy access for all the units and to allow the list to be kept up to date. 

We will be contacting unit for logins and passwords for those that will need them.
